Pursuant to Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), İstanbul Ekonomi Danışmanlık Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“Istanbul Economics”) hereby informs you in its capacity as data controller.
- Personal data processed
This website does not use analytics tools, tracking technologies, or cookies. The only personal data processed in connection with this website consists of information voluntarily submitted through the contact form: name, professional title, corporate e-mail address, company name, and the content of the message.
- Purposes and legal basis of processing
Personal data submitted through the contact form is processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:
(a) Responding to enquiries: Data is processed to evaluate and respond to the enquiry submitted. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the data controller pursuant to Article 5(2)(f) of KVKK.
(b) Business development and relationship management: Where an enquiry indicates a potential business relationship, data may be retained to facilitate follow-up communication and maintain a record of the professional interaction. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the data controller pursuant to Article 5(2)(f) of KVKK.
(c) Compliance with legal obligations: Where required by applicable law or regulatory authority, personal data may be processed to fulfil legal obligations. Legal basis: Article 5(2)(ç) of KVKK.
- Transfer of personal data
Unless your explicit consent is obtained, your personal data is not shared with any third party for commercial purposes.
That said, Istanbul Economics uses third-party technical service providers to operate its e-mail infrastructure. Enquiries submitted through the contact form are received and stored via e-mail services provided by Google LLC, which can also be accessed through Microsoft Corporation’s applications. These providers act as data processors on behalf of Istanbul Economics and may technically access communication data in the course of providing their services. Both providers operate under their own privacy policies and in accordance with applicable international data protection standards. Your personal data is not transferred to any other domestic or foreign third party.
- Retention period
Personal data submitted through the contact form is retained for a period of two (2) years from the date of receipt. At the end of this period, data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with Article 7 of KVKK and applicable secondary regulations.
Where the enquiry results in the establishment of a formal business relationship governed by a written services agreement, the retention of relevant data shall be determined by the terms of that agreement and applicable statutory limitation periods.
- Rights of data subjects
Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data has been processed;
- Request information about the processing if your data has been processed;
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is being used in accordance with its purpose;
- Learn the identity of third parties to whom your data has been transferred, whether domestically or abroad;
- Request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data;
- Request erasure or destruction of your data where the conditions in Article 7 of KVKK are met;
- Request notification of the rectification, erasure or destruction carried out pursuant to the above to third parties to whom your data has been transferred;
- Object to the emergence of a result against you through analysis of your data exclusively by automated means;
- Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of your personal data.
To exercise any of these rights, you may submit a written request to [email protected], and/or send a letter to our offices located at the address of Hare Sokak, No: 16, Akatlar, Beşiktaş / İstanbul, Türkiye. Your request will be assessed and concluded within thirty (30) days in accordance with Article 13 of KVKK.
If your request is rejected, you find the response insufficient, or Istanbul Economics fails to respond within the prescribed period, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu) within thirty (30) days of receiving our response, or within sixty (60) days of the date of your application if no response has been received.

6698 Sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu’nun (“KVKK”) 10. maddesi uyarınca, İstanbul Ekonomi Danışmanlık Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“İstanbul Ekonomi”), veri sorumlusu sıfatıyla aşağıdaki bilgilendirmeyi sunar.
- İşlenen kişisel veriler
Bu internet sitesi analitik araç, takip teknolojisi veya çerez kullanmamaktadır. İnternet sitesi kapsamında işlenen kişisel veriler, iletişim formu aracılığıyla veri sahibi tarafından gönüllü olarak iletilen ad-soyad, unvan, kurumsal e-posta adresi, şirket adı ve mesaj içeriğinden ibarettir.
- İşleme amaçları ve hukuki dayanağı
İletişim formu aracılığıyla iletilen kişisel veriler aşağıdaki amaçlar ve hukuki dayanaklar çerçevesinde işlenmektedir:
(a) Taleplerin yanıtlanması: Veriler, iletilen talebin değerlendirilmesi ve yanıtlanması amacıyla işlenmektedir. Hukuki dayanak: KVKK m. 5/2(f) kapsamında veri sorumlusunun meşru menfaati.
(b) İş geliştirme ve ilişki yönetimi: İletilen talebin potansiyel bir iş ilişkisine işaret etmesi halinde, takip iletişimini kolaylaştırmak ve mesleki etkileşimin kaydını tutmak amacıyla veriler saklanabilir. Hukuki dayanak: KVKK m. 5/2(f) kapsamında veri sorumlusunun meşru menfaati.
(c) Yasal yükümlülüklerin yerine getirilmesi: Yürürlükteki mevzuat veya yetkili makamların gerektirdiği hallerde, yasal yükümlülüklerin ifası amacıyla kişisel veriler işlenebilir. Hukuki dayanak: KVKK m. 5/2(ç).
- Kişisel verilerin aktarımı
Kişisel verileriniz açık rızanız alınmadığı müddetçe ticari amaçla herhangi bir üçüncü tarafla paylaşılmamaktadır.
Bununla birlikte, İstanbul Ekonomi, e-posta altyapısını işletmek için üçüncü taraf teknik hizmet sağlayıcılarından yararlanmaktadır. İletişim formu aracılığıyla iletilen talepler, Google LLC tarafından sağlanan e-posta hizmetleri aracılığıyla alınmakta ve saklanmakta ve bunlara Microsoft Corporation uygulamalarından erişilmekte-dir. Bu sağlayıcılar, İstanbul Ekonomi adına veri işleyen sıfatıyla hareket etmekte olup sundukları hizmetler kapsamında iletişim verilerine teknik olarak erişebilmektedir. Her iki sağlayıcı da kendi gizlilik politikaları ve geçerli uluslararası veri koruma standartları çerçevesinde faaliyet göstermektedir. Kişisel verileriniz başka herhangi bir yurt içi veya yurt dışı üçüncü tarafa aktarılmamaktadır.
- Saklama süresi
İletişim formu aracılığıyla iletilen kişisel veriler, alındığı tarihten itibaren 2 (iki) yıl süreyle saklanmaktadır. Bu sürenin sonunda veriler, KVKK’nın 7. maddesi ve ilgili ikincil düzenlemeler uyarınca silinmekte, yok edilmekte veya anonim hale getirilmektedir.
Talebin yazılı bir hizmet sözleşmesiyle sonuçlanan bir iş ilişkisine dönüşmesi halinde, ilgili verilerin saklama süresi söz konusu sözleşmenin hükümleri ve geçerli yasal zamanaşımı süreleri çerçevesinde belirlenmektedir.
- İlgili kişi hakları
KVKK’nın 11. maddesi uyarınca aşağıdaki haklara sahipsiniz:
- Kişisel verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme;
- Kişisel verileriniz işlenmiş ise buna ilişkin bilgi talep etme;
- Kişiler verilerinizin işlenme amacını ve amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme;
- Yurt içinde veya yurt dışında kişisel verilerin aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri öğrenme;
- Eksik veya yanlış işlenmiş verilerin düzeltilmesini isteme;
- KVKK’nın 7. maddesinde öngörülen koşulların varlığı halinde kişisel verilerin silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme;
- Yukarıdakiler uyarınca gerçekleştirilen işlemlerin, verilerin aktarıldığı üçüncü kişilere bildirilmesini isteme;
- İşlenen verilerin münhasıran otomatik sistemler vasıtasıyla analiz edilmesi suretiyle aleyhinize bir sonucun ortaya çıkmasına itiraz etme;
- Hukuka aykırı işleme nedeniyle uğradığınız zararın giderilmesini talep etme.
Bu haklarınızı kullanmak için [email protected] adresine yazılı başvuruda bulunabilir veya Hare Sokak, No: 16, Akatlar, Beşiktaş / İstanbul, Türkiye adresinde mukim ofisimize müracaat edebilirsiniz. Başvurularınız, KVKK’nın 13. maddesi uyarınca 30 (otuz) gün içinde değerlendirilerek sonuçlandırılacaktır.
Başvurunuzun reddedilmesi, verilen yanıtın yetersiz bulunması veya İstanbul Ekonomi’nin yasal süre içinde yanıt vermemesi halinde, yanıtımızı aldığınız tarihten itibaren 30 (otuz) gün, başvuru tarihinizden itibaren ise her halükarda 60 (altmış) gün içinde Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu’na şikayette bulunma hakkına sahipsiniz.
